You Should Do This Before Upgrading to Windows 11

Matt HarlowBy Matt HarlowMarch 30, 2022No Comments2 Mins Read0 Views

In spite of the fact that Windows 11 is already sent pre-installed on new computers, if you currently have a device running Windows 10, you will need to go through the upgrade procedure in order to enjoy the new features.

Since the upgrading process necessitates a complete reinstallation of the device, there is something you should do before installing Windows 11 onto your computer/laptop and doing this will save you any stress and worry in the future if something does go back during or after installation. Therefore, if any problems occur, you can revert and stay on Windows 10 and therefore, do anything that you like to do, for instance, playing on these online bingo options for a chance to win money.

Due to the fact that Windows 11 is offered as a free optional upgrade for Windows 10, the device must be capable of meeting the increased system requirements before it can be installed. You will not be able to continue with the setup until you do so. The Trusted Platform Module (TPM) and Secure Boot must be activated on the computer in order for it to function properly. Before proceeding with the update, you should double-check that the device has adequate storage and that there are no difficulties with it. Furthermore, you should build a backup in case you need to roll back your changes, verify the progress of your activation, and prepare installation media if necessary. However, what should you do before you start Windows 11 installation?

Make a Windows 10 Back-up on a Recovery Drive

Recovery Drives are USB flash drives that may be used to access system recovery tools if you have problems with your Windows 11 installation. Reinstalling Windows 10, or even an earlier version of Windows is possible using this programme. It’s important to note that a recovery disc will not be able to assist you in recovering any damaged or lost personal data. This means that you must also back up your data.

Having completed the preparations for Windows 11, you may start using your computer normally. With the new operating system, you won’t have to worry about the anxiety that usually comes with major operating system upgrades in the future. If anything goes wrong, you’ll be in a strong position to restore your data and go back to work with Windows 10 if necessary.
